The Vulture broadcast battalion supports scientific research against Neuroblastoma.
Nocera Inferiore: This morning the Commander of the transmission battalion "Vulture”, Lieutenant Colonel Michele De Palma, together with a delegation of personnel stationed at the “Libroia” barracks in Nocera Inferiore, went to the “Umberto I” hospital to donate the traditional chocolate eggs to the children hospitalized in the pediatric department of the Campania hospital, on the occasion of the upcoming Easter holidays. The eggs were purchased as part of the charity initiative in favor of the Onlus Enea (European Neuroblastoma Association), sponsored by the Defense General Staff and the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

In particular, Enea is an association led by parents with direct experience of the disease, which also deals with the fundraising necessary to guarantee the continuity of two research projects, one at a national level, at the “Anna Meyer” Pediatric Hospital in Florence, and the other at an international level, at the University of Lund in Sweden. The staff of the “Vulture” immediately showed particular enthusiasm and sensitivity towards the initiative, adhering massively first to the purchase and then to the donation of chocolate eggs to the little patients. A simple gesture but with a double value: helping research and giving a smile to those children who are currently fighting one of the most important battles of their lives.
