Accompanied by her parents to the hospital, doctors diagnosed her with a panic attack and discharged her. A few hours after her discharge, the 15-year-old girl suffered a cardiac arrest and died.
Yesterday a Marzano di Nola there would have been the funeral of the young Elisa Muto, daughter of the coach of Sporting Domicella, an amateur soccer team. The carabinieri, however, blocked the function to seize the body of the young woman who was discharged last Tuesday evening from the hospital in Nola and died during the night between Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Avellino prosecutor's office has opened an investigation based on the complaint filed by the parents: the family members claim that their daughter's symptom was underestimated and that she was not given the necessary care, which perhaps could have avoided the tragedy.
The autopsy ordered will also clarify the actual causes of death.
