A 55-year-old man was reported after repeatedly threatening his ex-wife, verbally threatening her and sending her photos of a gun, with a clear threatening intent that scared her a lot. The episode occurred in Gaeta, with the man reported by the Carabinieri of the local station for threats against his ex-wife. The one who reported the man was his ex-wife, who was afraid of the man's behavior.

Especially after the photo sent with the gun, he had imagined that his ex could do reckless things and had decided to report him to the police. A very difficult situation, given that the man had also attempted suicide several days earlier. The investigations were carried out by the Carabinieri, who also carried out a house search at the man's home: a blank gun with a red cap was found in his home (the same model as the one in the photo sent to his ex-wife) and 47 blank rounds of ammunition.

The weapons were seized, while the man was reported. The investigations revealed that the man had attempted suicide in the previous days: on that occasion he had been saved by the same carabinieri, who had managed to help him and prevent his death.
