The great work of these days allows us to start running again in vaccinations.

Health Minister Roberto Speranza explained this in an interview at the opening of La Stampa, recalling that the Sostegni decree will mobilize 150 family doctors, dentists, and pediatricians, as well as 19 pharmacies for vaccinations, and up to 270 nurses. Following the AstraZeneca case, he emphasized that it makes no sense to choose which vaccine to use ("they're all safe and effective," he said) and added that he expects the EMA to be quick in deciding on Sputnik, as it is on the others. The color system will remain in place after April 6.

THE NEW COLOR MAP FROM TOMORROW

Sardinia will leave the white zone tomorrow and return to the orange zone. This is the main novelty of the new color map of Italy after the new ordinances signed by the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza. The other change is represented by Molise, which goes orange, while the expiring ordinance relating to the red zone in Campania has also been extended.

The measures, as usual, do not affect any more restrictive measures already adopted in the territories. Furthermore, pursuant to the Legislative Decree of 12 March 2021, the same measures as the orange zone apply to the Regions in the yellow zone in the period 15 March - 6 April 2021 and, on 3, 4 and 5 April 2021, throughout the national territory, with the exception of the Regions or autonomous Provinces whose territories are in the white zone, the measures established for the red zone will apply.

CAMPANIA REMAINS RED

Overall, therefore, the distribution of the Regions and Autonomous Provinces starting from March 22, 2021 sees Campania, Emilia Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Lazio, Lombardy, Marche, Piedmont, the Autonomous Province of Trento, Puglia, Veneto in the red zone. The rest of the regions (Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Liguria, the province of Bolzano, Sicily, Tuscany, Umbria, Valle Aosta, Sardinia and Molise) are instead in the orange zone, also because the decree passed last week by the government does not provide for the yellow zone.
