The initiative promoted by FIAB NAPOLI CICLOVERDI on the occasion of March 8 is dedicated to "The female fighters of Naples yesterday and today".
The event promoted for Sunday 7 March, starting at 9.30 am, draws inspiration from the work of Marisa Albanese which is admired every day by commuters who travel from the “Quattro Giornate” metro line 1 station: “Le Combattenti”, a tribute to the women of the Resistance and to all the rebellious women, of today and tomorrow, who challenge common thinking and take action to stir consciences.
“Taking inspiration from the work of Marisa Albanese, we wanted to dedicate our event to the “fighting” women of yesterday and today, thus creating a path that will take us to the places that in some way have characterized female characters who have made the history of Naples,” says Teresa Dandolo, president Fiab Napoli Cicloverdi.
