From March 6, exclusively on Discovery+, the new streaming service of the Discovery group, “Lights camera revolution”, the series of interviews by Michele Dalai with ten Italian personalities: in a recording studio, sitting at a work table, the interviewer and his guest will discuss the past, present and future, their projects, the wait and the dreams of artists and creatives.
"I have always imagined what it would be like to interview someone without time constraints, without the rigid constraints of the schedule. Long, free interviews, in which the only thing agreed upon is listening. Larry King said that without listening you cannot learn, well I think it is a great truth. My desire is for artists to tell their stories in a free zone - says Michele Dalai - free to move around in a recording studio, to not cage their creative energies, to design the future together with us. We want to listen to them and imagine together what we will be tomorrow, what notes they will light, how their world will change and therefore ours. Long interviews, which sometimes exceed an hour and in which there are no games, products to promote, complex rituals. This is the revolution of the title: they are just interviews, no one does that anymore".
We start with an interview with the architect, urban planner and architectural theorist STEFANO BOERI. Among the various topics addressed: the effects of the pandemic on city life; the desired reciprocity between villages and metropolitan cities; his most famous architectural work in the world, the Bosco Verticale; his urban planning projects and the figure of the “architect” today.
Among the other protagonists who will meet Michele Dalai in the following episodes: the musician and composer BOOSTA, the rapper and record producer FRANKIE HI-NRG, the popular DJ RALF (Antonio Ferrari), the multi-instrumentalist SATURNINO, the guitarist and singer-songwriter PAOLO BENVEGNÙ, the writer CHIARA VALERIO, the startupper and businessman RICCARDO POZZOLI, the zoologist and writer MIA CANESTRINI and the host ALESSANDRO CATTELAN.
“LIGHTS CAMERA REVOLUTION” (10 episodes of 70') is produced by Blackcandy Produzioni for Discovery Italia, with the contribution of ESTRA.
