The clock of the Royal Palace of Naples starts working again
It's back to ticking and working the clock of the Palace Reale di Napoli, the Director Mario himself announced it Epifani: “I took office last November and the clock was already not working. Upon investigation I discovered that restoration work had been done in 2019 but then the clock had been deactivated so as not to disturb the shows at the San Carlo. So it simply had to be turned back on and soon it will have to be adjusted to daylight saving time.”
"Perfect, we are happy that it was simply a shutdown and not a malfunction, in any case the historical heritage of the city must always be protected and kept under observation. However, it is thought-provoking that 8 months have passed since the shutdown to have it active again. We thank the new Director Epifani for the intervention and for having responded to the requests of the citizens. Furthermore, for the tourists who we hope will return soon, it was not a nice sight to see the clock of the Royal Palace stopped." - commented the Regional Councilor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli and the radio host Gianni Simioli who had asked the director about the matter.
