Coronavirus Emergency. 28 deaths in Caserta in the last 48 hours and 36 dating back to the previous days but registered late.
A horrifying scene was seen in front of the hospital Covid Center in Maddaloni. A scene that brought to mind the one experienced in Bergamo last year. Thirteen hearses to transport as many people who died in less than 24 hours. These days that have just passed will probably be remembered as the most dramatic, for the province of Caserta, since the beginning of the pandemic.

Now the virus no longer distinguishes between young and old. It violently attacks everyone. Out of 1.776 swabs processed, 167 new positives were recorded in the province of Caserta in the last 24 hours. There are 11 more deaths, 23 in two days (939 since the start of the pandemic). Recovered still outnumber infected: +193. The current infected are 7.090. The most affected center remains the capital with 598 positives, followed by Maddaloni with 518, Marcianise with 492, Aversa with 308, Orta di Atella with 241 and Santa Maria Capua Vetere with 213.
