Varcaturo. Maxi operation on the Domitian coast. In the late afternoon yesterday in a joint blitz led the police to seize a large quantity of drugs: 150 kg of cocaine.

The drug was seized in an apartment in Giugliano in Campania, Licola district, by the financial police of the Gico of Naples and by the agents of the Naples Mobile Squad.During the activity, some searches were also carried out to verify the possible presence of weapons. The journalist Marilena Natale reported the news in advance. The large quantity of drugs was hidden in a villa on the Giugliano coastal strip, in via Madonna del Pantano. During the raid, the agents also found 9 pistols.

The operation would have also led to the arrest of several people, all accused of drug trafficking. In detail, the police have locked up 100 kilos of cocaine and 50 kilos of hashish. This is one of the most important seizures of narcotics made in recent years in the northern area of ​​Naples, with a value of several million euros. It will now be up to the investigators to reconstruct the distribution chain and understand where and to which drug dealing areas the 150 kilos of drugs supplied in an apartment were destined.
