Mertens celebrates 100 goals in Serie A with Napoli on social media

With his brace last night at the Olimpico in Rome that allowed Gattuso's Azzurri to beat Fonseca's Giallorossi, Dries Ciro Mertens broke another record: 100 goals in Serie A with Napoli.

“Very proud of this new milestone: 100 goals in Serie A. First Belgian player to reach 100 goals. Hurry up Romelu Lukaku!”. The Belgian striker said Dries Mertens, celebrated the record on social media by joking with his compatriot Inter player, Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian is now just two goals behind Vojak, who is first in the league with 102 goals scored in Serie A with the Azzurri, but he is tied with Hamsik, who also has the highest number of goals scored for the Azzurri.
