Naples, high impact at “Rione Monterosa” and Scampia

Yesterday, officers from the Scampia Police Station and the Local Police, with the support of the Nibbio unit from the General Prevention Office and crews from the Campania Crime Prevention Unit, carried out an extraordinary patrol of the territory in the "Monterosa" district and Scampia.

During the activity, 75 people were identified, 4 of whom were fined for failure to comply with anti-Covid-19 measures because they were driving outside their municipality of residence without a justified reason; 45 vehicles were checked, 11 of which were motorcycles seized for the purpose of subsequent confiscation; furthermore, 51 violations of the Highway Code were contested for driving without a license, lack of insurance coverage and failure to use a protective helmet, imposing fines for a total of 85.000 euros; finally, two people were reported for driving without a license because they had repeated the violation in the two-year period.
