Anti-crowding checks at Decumani. 2 bars closed
Yesterday, the officers of the Decumani Police Station carried out services aimed at preventing and combating violations of the current anti-Covid-19 regulations in the "movida" areas of Largo San Giovanni Maggiore, Largo Girolamo Giusso, Largo Banchi Nuovi, Via Santa Chiara, Piazzetta Teodoro Monticelli, Via Enrico De Marinis and in the adjacent streets.
During the activity, 72 people were identified, 2 of whom were fined for failure to comply with anti-Covid-19 measures because they were consuming alcoholic beverages in a public place and because they were circulating beyond the permitted hours without a justified reason.
Furthermore, in via Santa Chiara and in vico San Giovanni Maggiore they fined the owners of two bars because they were caught serving drinks beyond the permitted hours; the first establishment was also ordered to close for 2 days, and the second for one day.
