Covid: in the last free weekend before the red zone, people on the streets in the center of Naples but without critical issues.
Not a large crowd was seen on the seafront of Via Partenope. In fact, almost all the restaurants overlooking the Gulf that, even with the orange zone, could only work with take-out and delivery are closed. And those that are open can be counted on the fingers of one hand. Few customers have also chosen to have a pizza or an aperitif to eat at home or along the street. The situation is almost similar also in the area of the 'baretti di Chiaia', unusually little frequented for a Saturday. For restaurateurs and owners of bars and clubs, the transition from the orange zone to the red one has little impact from the point of view of operations: this is why many have chosen to remain closed anyway, believing that staying open only for take-out was not sufficiently profitable.
And so, deprived of the attraction of the clubs, the Neapolitan seafront remains the prerogative of motorists, runners and those who take advantage of it for a walk, but without gatherings. Tight controls with the men of the Army, the Municipal Police and the Civil Protection who discreetly monitor the use of masks.
