They are believed to be the perpetrators of numerous robberies committed in the northern area of the province of Naples and for this reason 5 people were reached this morning by a precautionary custody order in prison issued by the investigating judge of Naples North at the request of the Aversa prosecutor's office and carried out by personnel of the Mobile team Neapolitan. The alleged crimes are aggravated robbery, receiving stolen goods and illegal possession of weapons.

The robberies on which the investigations focused were committed between August 2020 and January 2021. In particular, on January 25, 2021, in Melito, near the Melito 1 Post Office, while the security guards were starting the operations to deliver the money, they were attacked by a commando of four people who, aboard two stolen cars and armed with pistols and a shotgun, took possession of the package containing 50 thousand euros and the service pistol of a security guard.

The robbery was committed around 9 am against employees of the Il Notturno security institute in the presence of numerous people intent on using postal services.
