The inspectors have returned to the buses in Naples and today there was a verification inspection.
It was carried out by the municipal councilor for public transport, Marco Gaudini, together with the general director of Anm, Francesco Mascolo. A verification of the activities implemented by Anm (Azienda napoletana mobilita') with respect to the control of travel tickets on buses and regarding the adoption of anti-covid measures.
In fact, since March 1st, the inspection service for the rubber lines has been reinstated, employing 120 workers who, in addition to checking that users have a travel ticket, must also ensure that the regulations against the spread of the coronavirus are respected on the buses, starting with everyone wearing a mask. “It is an important service especially at this time,” said Gaudini, “which aims not only to combat tax evasion, but also to prevent non-compliance with the provisions on covid within the public rubber transport vehicles. I would like to thank all the employees and the management of the company who are engaged in this important action.
Now - he added - we must also aim to improve the possibilities of purchasing travel tickets and in this sense I have called a meeting for Monday with the top management of the Consorzio Unico Campania in order to verify all possible solutions to guarantee a wider coverage on the territory for the purchase of tickets and for the implementation of the actions, already implemented, of computerization of the sales system".
