The turning point in the investigation into the murder of Romeo Bondanese concerns the friends of the sixteen-year-old who ended up under house arrest on charges of unintentional homicide.
All originally from Casapulla, in the province of Caserta, they are said to have been involved in the brawl that led to the killing of 17-year-old Romeo Bondanese. The boy died after a stab wound that severed his femoral artery following an argument that broke out over trivial reasons.

The number of young people under investigation for the brawl that took place on Tuesday 16 February in via Vitruvio in Formia and ended with the murder of 17-year-old Romeo Bondanese is increasing. These are three minors between the ages of 16 and 17 accused of brawling: they are all originally from Casapulla, in the province of Caserta, like the 16-year-old who allegedly inflicted the fatal stab wound. According to what has emerged from the investigations, the clothes of one of the boys involved in the brawl and then seized, were apparently thoroughly washed. A detail that the State Police agents want to see clearly about. Also Romeo Bondanese's cousin has ended up in the register of those under investigation for brawl.
The boy was sitting with the 17-year-old on the bench when the altercation broke out. He was stabbed and underwent delicate surgery that saved his life.
