This is the scene that the police officers found themselves in front of. Villaricca Municipal Police, a large center on the outskirts of Naples, on via Consolare campana. Then the carabinieri intervened. Among the hypotheses, that of a road accident. But also that of a robbery gone wrong.

Also on the ground, investigators found and collected a luxury watch, a Rolex. Among the possible dynamics of the incident, within a hypothesis of an attempted robbery, the one that would see the driver of the Smart, attacked by robbers, ram the criminals' vehicle causing it to fall fatally. The man would then have fled. Investigators are examining the images of public and private cameras in the area and do not exclude that it was a Camorra ambush.
