The Guardia di Finanza Group of Torre Annunziata has executed, between the provinces of Naples and Salerno, a preventive seizure order issued by the Preliminary Investigations Judge of the Court of Torre Annunziata upon request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Torre Annunziata, aimed at confiscating, also for the equivalent, assets for a value of over 400.000 euros from an Import-Export company operating in the food packaging and wrapping sector with headquarters in the municipality of Sant'Antonio Abate.
The precautionary patrimonial measure was issued following in-depth economic-financial investigations carried out by the Guardia di Finanza Company of Castellammare di Stabia under the coordination of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Torre Annunziata, initiated following a tax activity that allowed the reconstruction, on the part of the aforementioned company, of the failure to pay certified withholdings made against employees, configuring the offence envisaged and punished by article 10-bis of Legislative Decree no. 10 of 2000 March 74.
The unlawful conduct that emerged, in addition to the undue tax savings, allowed the company to place itself on the market in a prominent position in the specific commercial sector, distorting the rules of free competition.
The enforcement order led to the seizure of €212.244 in company shareholdings (of which €15.300 owned by a Dutch company) and €95.751,82 in current accounts, for a total of €307.995,82, against the company and its legal representative.
