The Extraordinary Commission of the Municipality of S. Antimo had two banners dedicated to Ciro Chirollo removed this morning.

The Sant'Antimo criminal was killed on March 26th together with his accomplice Domenico Romano during a robbery. "The operation - states the Prefecture of Naples – is part of the plan of interventions for the restoration of legality with the removal of artefacts or other symbols that illegally insist on the public road”.

“You will always be in our hearts. Ciro lives.” It was written on the removed banner. “How cruel is fate,” wrote a user on social media, again referring to Chirollo, “you flew away with your dad and your uncle,” referring to the fact that the 30-year-old’s dad had been killed in a Camorra ambush. “You broke our hearts, now from up there you give your family so much strength. Have a good trip my beautiful angel,” the post concludes. “I would like to wake up from this bad dream,” probably writes a relative of Chirollo, “from this reality that they are killing us all. You have left an unfillable void.”

TOMORROW AFTERNOON THE AUTOPSY AT GIUGLIANO HOSPITAL

Meanwhile, tomorrow at 14.30:30 p.m., at the San Giuliano hospital in Giugliano, autopsies will be performed on the bodies of Ciro Chirollo, 40, and Domenico Romano, 26, who died Friday evening between Villaricca and Marano, after being – according to the hypothesis of the Prosecutor's Office of Naples North – rammed while they were on a scooter, by the car driven by XNUMX-year-old Giuseppe Greco, who had shortly before robbed a Rolex. The assignment for the forensic medical examination was given this morning. Greco is being investigated by the Prosecutor's Office of Naples North – PM Paolo Martinelli and Carmine Renzulli – for voluntary homicide. But the investigation by the Carabinieri of the Marano Company is still in full swing. At the moment, no restrictive measures have been issued against Greco by the judicial authorities.

investigations and search for evidence

At the moment the only certainty is the robbery committed by Chirollo and Romano, as reported by the suspect himself to the prosecutor Paolo Martinelli. On the subsequent phases, however, the investigators are looking for confirmation, as there are no images of the impact. Furthermore, Greco denied having hit the two bandits, since one of the two – he said – had stolen his car. The investigators who were on site – the Carabinieri of Marano and Castello di Cisterna – however found a different scene, with Greco's "Smart" stopped against a wall and the two bandits, now dead, lying on the asphalt near the car and the scooter. A scene compatible with an accident caused by the ramming of the vehicle. The evidence collected so far therefore seems to suggest that only Greco could have done such a thing.
