Schiavone new President of Confindustria Caserta

Beniamino Schiavone, 37 years old, epidemiologist doctor specialized in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine and legal representative of the “Padre Pio” Nursing Home in Mondragone, is the new President of Confindustria Caserta. The new leader of the Association, who succeeds Luigi Traettino, was elected by the Assembly, held remotely, and will remain in office for the four-year period 2021-2025.

"It is an honor for me - explained Schiavone - to have received the trust of the associates, who have given me the opportunity to hold this prestigious position in such a delicate moment for the entire entrepreneurial class. In this phase Confindustria Caserta has demonstrated cohesion and a great sense of responsibility, strenuously resisting the crisis and deciding to continue a process of renewal that had already begun in the last four years".
The new president outlined the path he intends to take forward through some key words: “I will lead the Association – he added – looking to the future and making courageous choices. This four-year period will be characterized by the values of inclusion, ambition, innovation, determination and connections. Confindustria Caserta is the home of entrepreneurs and will increasingly have to protect its member companies. However, I am convinced that business is not just about profit, but an activity that must include a strong sense of social responsibility towards the entire community. We must innovate, aim to start again, taking advantage of opportunities such as the Recovery Fund, leaving no one behind and working together, strengthening collaboration with all the entities in the area: politics, unions, the University”.

Schiavone dedicates an important passage to his predecessor: "I can only thank President Traettino. If a climate of compactness, unity of purpose and cohesion was created that led to my unanimous designation, we owe it to his excellent work. I was his vice president for four years," concluded Schiavone, "I learned a lot from him and an excellent personal relationship was created."

The outgoing leader of Caserta industrialists, Luigi Traettino, preceded the new President's report: "My greatest satisfaction - he declared - is having created a climate of mutual respect and collaboration among those who lead our Association. We are a real family, in which everyone is rowing in the same direction. I leave Confindustria Caserta in excellent hands, but above all we have recorded important results in terms of new memberships, the birth and growth of many business entities and internationalization, which has undergone a notable acceleration in the last four years. I thank all my fellow entrepreneurs and the structure of Confindustria Caserta for having allowed me to live the most beautiful and rewarding experience of my life".

The Assembly also elected the vice-presidents: Clelia Crisci (vice-president deputy), Adolfo Bottazzo, Luigi Della Gatta, Vincenzo Giannotti, Roberto Impero and Ludovica Zigon. Pasquale Lama, president of the Young Industrialists Group, Antonio Pezone, president of ANCE Caserta, and Massimiliano Santoli, president of Small Industry, will also be part of the team as vice-presidents by right. The Assembly, also called to vote on the program of the new president, elected five representatives to the General Council. These are Angela Casale, Enrico Landolfi, Maurizio Pennetti, Angela Pozzi and Maurizio Turrà.
The President of Confindustria, Carlo Bonomi, concluded the proceedings
