The Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples, during two separate operations, seized over 220 tons of pellets and an illegal car wash between Ottaviano and Terzigno.
In particular, the Company of Octavian, during an initial intervention, identified a 600 m2 property right in the city centre, seizing over 13.000 bags of pellets ready to be placed on the market.
The owner of the commercial activity was reported, as he was found to lack building and urban planning compliance authorizations, as well as fire safety certifications, considering that the logistics center was intended for the storage of flammable material.

The premises were found to be unsuitable for storing such a quantity of pellets, with the consequent situation of potential danger for the entire surrounding area: the "illegal" warehouse is in fact located in a densely populated area, close to a main artery of the Vesuvian town, with obvious dangers for the safety of the inhabitants and passers-by.
ILLEGAL CAR WASH DISCOVERED IN TERZIGNO
During the second intervention, the Guardia di Finanza became suspicious when cars and people came and went near a building in Terzigno. Here, the Company discovered an illegal car wash, without any authorization, which was discharging waste water into a manhole disconnected from the sewer system.
Upon access, the financial police found many cars already washed or ready to be washed. The manager was reported for violations of the regulations on safety in the workplace and illegal waste disposal while the entire area and the building used, of about 200 m2, were seized together with the equipment used and the waste produced.
