Pusher network dismantled between Tuscany, Campania and Veneto: 5 precautionary measures
One dismantled drug dealing network of drugs that also passed through the Pisa area, between Santa Croce sull'Arno and Montopoli Valdarno, and on which the Carabinieri of the San Miniato company worked for years before executing this morning, together with their colleagues from the operational department and the territorial force of Nocera Inferiore and Vicenza, five orders of precautionary custody in prison and two bans on residence in the province of Pisa, issued by the investigating judge of the Pisa court.
The network of pusher was mainly dedicated to the dealing of cocaine and hashish and the investigation, coordinated by the prosecutor Sisto Restuccia, began in April 2018 after a series of stakeouts by the carabinieri that led to the arrest of three people accused of possession of 37 doses of cocaine, a .45 caliber pistol and seven cartridges: the weapon had been stolen in the province of Lucca.
Subsequent investigations have identified that the group of drug dealers operated in Nocera Inferiore, in the province of Vicenza, in Santa Croce and in Montopoli and in total 13 other people were reported at large. The investigators have also seized 48 thousand euros in cash from the drug dealing activity and documented at least 3 thousand sales of cocaine equivalent to approximately 1,5 kg of drugs placed on the market.
