An Argentine court has ruled that the five children recognized by Diego Armando Maradona will be the sole heirs to the assets of the Pibe de Oro, over which a legal dispute is underway.
The court resolution established that the defined heirs of the world soccer star are Diego Junior, born in Italy from a relationship with Cristina Sinagra during his time at Napoli; Dalma and Giannina, born from his marriage to Claudia Villafane; Jana, daughter of Valeria Sabalain; Diego Fernando, 8-year-old son born from his relationship with Veronica Ojeda. Therefore, Maradona's five recognized children are the only heirs in the succession of his assets.
The decision was made by the civil and commercial judge of La Plata, Luciana Tedesco del Rivero, who recognized Maradona's paternity of each of the children born from different romantic relationships throughout his life. However, according to what was reported by the Argentine daily Ambitó Financiero, the declaration of heirs could be expanded in the event that someone presented themselves as Maradona's son, something that would have to be proven at a judicial level
. With today's decision, a first phase of the affair is closed and the division of Maradona's assets could begin, which are the cause of dispute between his children, but also with the lawyer Matias Morla who was the administrator and lawyer of the 'Diez'. A few days ago, his daughters Dalma and Giannina asked the lawyer Morla to report on the contract that tied him to the former footballer, his compensation and what kind of tasks he performed, and how much and for what service the circle of people who lived with Maradona in recent years were paid, including the lawyer's sister, Vanesa Morla, his brother-in-law Christian Pomargo and others.
