Rome. Campania goes into the red zone starting next Monday.
The Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, based on the data and indications of the control room, has signed the new ordinances that will come into force starting from Monday 8 March.
As widely announced, Campania is moving into the red zone, while Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto are moving into the orange zone.
Emilia-Romagna, which has red zone numbers and which today has the record number of infections, currently remains in dark orange with some provinces in the red zone. Lazio and Liguria remain yellow. Lombardy is now in the reinforced orange band at the behest of governor Attilio Fontana. Here is the overall picture. Red zone: Campania, Basilicata and Molise. Orange zone: Lombardy, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Abruzzo, Emilia Romagna, Marche, Piedmont, Umbria, Tuscany and the autonomous provinces of Bolzano and Trento. Yellow zone: Liguria, Lazio, Calabria, Puglia, Sicily and Valle d'Aosta. White zone: Sardinia.
Campania will therefore move into the red zone from Monday 8 March and will remain there for fifteen days. It will be possible to go out only for work reasons or for necessity.
HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN DO
All shops are closed except those selling essential goods. Hairdressers, barbers and beauty salons are also closed.
All travel into and out of the territories in the red zone is prohibited, and even within the same territories, travel motivated by proven work needs or situations of necessity or for health reasons remains permitted
return to one's home, residence is permitted
in the red zone, visits are prohibited
transit through territories in the red zone is permitted when necessary to reach further territories not subject to travel restrictions or in exceptional cases in which travel is permitted. Sports and motor activities in the red zone
they are suspended even if carried out in outdoor sports centres • all events and competitions organised by sports promotion bodies are also suspended
It is permitted to carry out individual physical activity in the vicinity of one's home, provided that a distance of at least 1 metre is maintained from any other person and that a mask is required
Sporting activities are permitted exclusively outdoors and on an individual basis.
Campania today recorded another 2.842 (of which 341 cases identified by rapid antigen tests) positive cases out of 25.327 swabs performed. The incidence rate is 11,22%, yesterday it was 11,58%.
