Installed the plaque dedicated to Mesolella: the work of Bruno Donzelli at the foot of the Tree on Corso Trieste in Caserta

Exactly four years after the death of Fausto Mesolella, a simple and symbolic ceremony unveiled the plaque dedicated to him. The artistic commemorative tribute, installed at the foot of the Fausto Tree on Corso Trieste in Caserta, was created by the famous international painter Bruno Donzelli. The plant was planted last July by bartender Giacomo Serao to remember the late guitarist, composer and arranger from Caserta. At the ceremony, held in compliance with anti-covid regulations, the councilors Emiliano Casale and Lucia Monaco represented the municipal administration. In addition to Giacomo Serao, Enzo Zuccaro, Tiziana Petrillo, Alfonso Tramontano Guerritore, Donato Tartaglione, Flavio Lombardi, Massimo Sgroi, Vito Zamprotta, Giuseppe Serao and Angela Cuccaro were present. It all started from the will of a group of traveling companions and historical friends of Fausto Mesolella, who wanted to pay homage to an extraordinary musician capable of bringing the name of Caserta to the highest levels, establishing himself as a composer and soloist, but also as a member of the Piccola Orchestra Avion Travel. The tree and the artistic plaque want to be an unmistakable signal of how deep-rooted the bond was between Mesolella and the city.
Bruno Donzelli's tribute is an exceptional work of art dedicated to Fausto Mesolella, created with the unmistakable pictorial technique of the master, so rich in colors and matter. At the center of the work a pentagram, on everything is printed the name of Fausto.
Mesolella was good at telling stories and making life come from the wood of his musical instrument, the guitar. His will was to play it until it blossomed. This is why he had a relationship with the tree. A "storyteller", this was Fausto Mesolella, an artist, but above all a person who was loved by everyone because he truly was, and continues to be in the hearts, everyone's friend.
