Land of fires, Carabinieri checks in Caivano
The Carabinieri of the Casoria Company, as part of a service aimed at combating environmental crimes, reported the owner of a transport company for illegal disposal of hazardous waste and failure to fill out loading and unloading registers. A 700 m400 warehouse intended for a workshop, a 3 m3 area intended for washing vehicles and 300 XNUMX mXNUMX containers containing hazardous waste were seized from the company. And again, in a yard of about XNUMX mXNUMX abandoned bus carcasses were found.
2 illegal landfills located along the SP498 thanks to the flight support of the Carabinieri of the Pontecagnano Helicopter Unit. The road, already seized with waste characterization procedure by the municipality of Caivano, was covered with materials of all kinds: bituminous sheaths, household appliances, used clothing, construction waste, furniture parts, tires.
The area has been reported to the competent authorities who will classify the waste and arrange for its disposal.
