Maddaloni. New robbery carried out with the help of a knife: More than a robbery it was a blitz: once again a man, presumably 30 years old, had the takings delivered to him at the health center on Via Roma. It's the third episode, to the detriment of a commercial establishment, consumed in the last 10 days, always in the city center and always in crowded places. Once again with his face uncovered, he decidedly aimed at the cash register, without indulging in pleasantries or ritual intimations.

Many witnesses were on the street when the nearby bar, the local tobacconist and other shops closed. Yet the action was so lightning-fast that it was the victim's screams that signaled what had happened and raised the alarm. An attempted chase ensued. Crafty in the robbery and quick in his escape: even though he ran away on foot, he managed to disappear into the traffic of the city centre. The Carabinieri were on site to reconstruct the robbery, quantify the damage and, above all, collect the testimonies of many eyewitnesses. In recent days, a herbalist's shop and a coffee shop had been targeted.
