Fraud against the State by a company that offered services in welcoming migrants: numerous entrepreneurs from the Domitian coast investigated and assets seized.
The Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples, by order of the GIP of the Neapolitan Court, has executed, between Naples and Giugliano in Campania, the preventive seizure of assets and financial resources of over 1.500.000 euros against a business group operating in the sector of migrant reception services.

Disrupted freedom of auctions and aggravated fraud for the purpose of obtaining public funds are the crimes hypothesized by the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Naples against several entrepreneurs from the Domitian coast known for their multiple commercial interests in the field of catering and tourist-hotel reception.
In fact, the defendants, with their conduct, allegedly misled the Public Administration with artifices and deception, unduly receiving a total amount exceeding 1.500.000 euros, corresponding to the value of the assets and financial resources that are the subject of today's provision.
In particular, the perpetrators, taking advantage of the emergency caused in 2015 by the huge migratory flows, allegedly used false documentation in order to certify the possession of the necessary requirements for the awarding of the public tender announced in the same year by the Prefecture of Naples, to guarantee reception services to foreign citizens requesting international protection.
More specifically, during the investigations carried out by the specialists of the Economic and Financial Police Unit of Naples, it emerged that the property made available for the reception services was in fact an illegal structure, subsequently pardoned, declared for urban planning purposes as a "banquet hall", lacking the minimum number of toilets, certified by false appraisals, and which, therefore, could never have been admitted to the tender.
