A colorful and lively territorial marketing project made in Campania dedicated to children to discover and rediscover all together, even in times of Covid-19, the most hidden pearls of Campania. This is the goal of the project Caggiulino the cute gray and white dog with the red hat who goes around discovering the Italian territory to tell the little ones about the food and wine, artistic and cultural peculiarities.

“In the company of Caggiulino we want to tell the story of the many hidden treasures present throughout Campania – says Antonio Ruoto, regional coordinator of the Campanum project and assistant in Social Media Analysis at the Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples – a region with a very strong tourist vocation but where there are still many attractions and local peculiarities that, although further away from the mainstream tourist routes, retain a charm and a fascination that is all to be rediscovered”.
The cartoon was created by computer scientist Emanuele Andrisani and artist Gioele Gargano with the supervision of Antonio Ruoto.
The voice of Caggiulino and the Emperor Hadrian is that of the historian Demetrio Antonio Cavara.

Caggiulino is a cross-media project conceived by PMI Innovativa iInformatica, based in Naples and throughout southern Italy, for territorial promotion through cartoons, editorial projects, apps and gadgets. After many experiences of territorial marketing in Basilicata, Sicily and Sardinia, the colorful adventures of Caggiulino pave the way for the “Campanum” project for the territorial valorization of the region.
