Patients sent home and moments of panic and tension. It happened in the early afternoon at the Caserta vaccination center when the news of the suspension of the AstraZeneca vaccine spread.
Several people summoned this afternoon were sent home after AIFA's ban. And many, already intimidated by the chaos unleashed in recent days, are now even more fearful. Indeed, some, indignantly leaving the hub in the capital, said: "At this point, I won't do it anymore." Upon hearing of the suspension, many who had just received their doses were gripped by anxiety.

What was striking was the reaction of a woman who, listening to the staff sending patients home in line, went into panic. She was shaking, had difficulty breathing and was terrified. She was helped by those present who reassured her by making her sit down and giving her some water.
Covid: Positivity rate in Caserta soars to 18%
After the over 400 cases recorded between Saturday and Sunday, in the last 24 hours the new infections have dropped - 255 - but this is a consequence of the lower number of swabs carried out (1399 against 2361 yesterday), for a positivity rate that remains very high, well over 15% (18,2%). The number of people currently positive, also thanks to the 111 recovered, has grown by 142 units, reaching 6623. The daily report of the ASL of Caserta also reports two deaths (between Saturday and Sunday there were seven), for a total of 845 people who have died from coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic (March 2020).
