Vietri sul Mare. Churches and squares closed, access to municipal offices only for essential services, beaches closed on holidays and days before holidays.
These are some of the measures, in force from tomorrow until April 6, contained in an ordinance by the mayor of Vietri sul Mare, Giovanni de Simone, to stem the spread of Covid-19 infections and to prevent the creation of gatherings. Teaching activities are carried out exclusively remotely for students of schools of all levels, "except for the guarantee of carrying out in person activities intended for students with special educational needs and/or disabilities, at the request of parents", reads the provision which, pending publication on the public notice board, is anticipated on social media by the mayor.
Furthermore, the closure of squares, the municipal villa, playgrounds and churches has been ordered. Then, access to beaches is prohibited on holidays and days before holidays. Access to public offices is guaranteed only for essential services "in compliance with the safety measures set out in the national legislation in force on the matter, acknowledging that municipal offices will guarantee opening during the following hours: from Monday to Friday from 10,00:12,00 to XNUMX:XNUMX" and "using alternative methods of contact with users with notices on the institutional website, with the use of email and telephone contacts".
For the owners of commercial establishments, "with regard to the product categories in operation pursuant to the provisions regulating the matter", the obligation to guarantee limited access. Finally, an "absolute" ban on gatherings outside of food and beverage distribution establishments and on gatherings in streets and public spaces.
