The hunt is on for the lone killer on the scooter. He is thought to be the perpetrator of a murder and an injury that occurred in recent months in San Giorgio a Cremano.

In fact, in the context of investigations carried out by the Flying Squad on behalf of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Naples, he released two frames of the lone hitman aimed at developing a possible common matrix in relation to the murder of Raffaele Gallo on 16 June 2020, and the attempted murder of Giovanni Formisano on 14 November 2020, both of which occurred in San Giorgio a Cremano.

The two frames that clearly portray the same person were taken during the two ambushes, in which the perpetrator was portrayed. The investigators hope that someone will be able to identify him and provide useful information for the investigation.

The trail followed by the police leads to the Mazzarella clan since Giovanni Gallo, Raffaele's brother, chose to collaborate with justice several years ago.

The ambush against Raffaele could be a cross-party revenge against the collaborator of justice who tore down the wall of silence in a clan, that of the Mazzarella of San Giovanni a Teduccio, almost free from repentants. Giovanni has in particular accused the boss Vincenzo Troia and the brothers Giuseppe and Andrea Attanasio of being the instigators and material executors of the 2011 crime in which the innocent mechanic Vincenzo Liguori, father of the journalist Mary of the Mattino, lost his life, hit in the heart by a stray bullet in his workshop. The real target was Luigi Formicola, also killed in the raid. Sentenced to life imprisonment in the first and second instance, they were acquitted in the Court of Assizes of Appeal after a referral by the Supreme Court. Raffaele Gallo, 56, had recently been released from prison after sixteen years of imprisonment. He was believed to be close to the Vollaro clan.
