Alberti cut without authorization: area seized in Salerno

The military personnel of the Colliano Forestry Carabinieri Station, in the context of their territorial control activity, noticed, in the locality of “Sant'Ilarione” in the countryside of the municipality of Castelnuovo of Conza, the execution of a cutting forest.

The patrol carried out an inspection of the area and the check revealed that a forest felling had been carried out with total removal of the stumps on a surface of approximately 1600 m50. On the same area, a fill of earthy material had been carried out for a quantity of approximately XNUMX mXNUMX.

When asked to produce the landscape-environmental authorization required for the uprooting of the Mediterranean scrub stumps and oak trees, as well as the land use plan reported therein in accordance with the procedures set out in Presidential Decree 120/2017, the owner of the land was unable to provide the documentation.

In light of the findings, the military proceeded to seize the area affected by the works and reported the owner of the land to the AG for violation of art. 181 of Legislative Decree 42/2004 (Works carried out without authorization) and art. 256 of Legislative Decree 152/2006 (Unauthorized waste management activity); furthermore, an administrative fine of €600 was imposed on the same for earth movement in an area subject to hydrogeological constraints without the required authorization.
