“Venti” (Rumore di Zona /The Orchard) is Amelia’s new single, out today, Thursday 8 April, on the radio and all digital platforms.
“Venti” is a song of hope, of rebirth. In a historical moment where love is often described with detachment and disenchantment, this song wants to give prominence to true, pure, strong, overwhelming feelings. Love is a lifeline from a life that can sometimes become difficult: love always remains the only hold that can save you from the dramas of existence, the real ones. The ones that “tear your chest”, that can happen at any age, with any intensity. And even when happiness seems to have disappeared from your life, it is there that someone who loves you can give themselves totally to you, whispering “I exist” to reassure you of all your fears.
About the new single, the young singer-songwriter from Abruzzo said: “I think Venti is one of the most beautiful songs I've written. It deals with the theme of pure love, the kind that can lift you out of drama, that can save your life. It talks about it in an old-fashioned way, but so old-fashioned that I find it modern. That's why I chose it as the opening song for the new album I'm working on. The approach, the sound... I wanted everything to refer to something modern, contemporary, in which to set a concept of love dug out over time, in an almost neoclassical way. I hope you like it: it's a piece of my life lived, that I want to share with everyone so that maybe someone can see themselves in it and find comfort”.
Amelia is Lorenzo Di Pasquale, a singer-songwriter from Teramo born in 1990. In 2017 he released his debut EP “Usa e getta”. The following year he released two singles, born from the collaboration with the production studio ALTI Records: “Chili” and “Ci vedo là” feat. Vittorini. This last song dedicated to the city of L'Aquila immediately went viral in the Abruzzo region, attracting the attention of local and national media. In the same year he was involved in an intense live activity that saw him share the stage with important artists such as Mirkoeilcane, Lorenzo Kruger, Marco Morandi, Filippo Graziani, Giorgio Ciccarelli and Sergio Caputo. In 2019 the singles “Atomica” and “Lungomare” were released, songs that anticipated his first album entitled “Gli ultime” released on November 22, 2019 for the record label LaPop Music. In 2020, the collaboration with Marta Venturini (Calcutta, Boreale, Carrese) and the Roman label Rumore di Zona was born, with which on November 18, 2020, she released the single “Mare Rosso”, followed by “Venti” on the radio and digital platforms from April 8, 2021.
