Anna Bettozzi, aka Ana Betz, had inherited an empire, that of Max Petroli, from her husband Sergio Di Cesare.

Today she was jailed, accused of aiding the Camorra, because her company was controlled by Antonio Moccia, boss of the Moccia clan of Afragola. "He is the undisputed leader of the organization, the most 'expert' of all in the field, thanks in part to what she learned from her husband, Sergio Di Cesare," wrote Rome investigating judge Tamara De Amicis, in the Roman branch of the investigation that led to the 'Petrol-Mafie Spa' operation. "Nothing happens without her consent," added the investigating judge who ordered the woman's prison sentence. "It is she who establishes the relationship with Alberto Coppola and, through him, with the entire Neapolitan group, from which she receives significant funding for her illicit activities, adequately remunerating their investments." For her, "it seems superfluous to even make further considerations regarding everything that has emerged during the investigation," the judge emphasized.

THE PAYMENT IN BLACK TO GABRIEL GARKO

Quattro provides at work Rome, Naples, Catanzaro and Reggio Calabria. In addition to Bettozzi, a significant part of his family is in prison: two children, a nephew, his daughter's partner and the company's lawyer. And again the crime of self-laundering aggravated by having facilitated a mafia-style organization, namely the Casalesi because he allegedly delivered 150.000 euros in cash to the actor Gabriel Garko, not under investigation and called for an advertisement. That money, according to the prosecutors, would be part of the illicit earnings deriving from the financing received from the clan and laundered through tax fraud in the diesel trade. The investigation documents include the phone call of February 28, 2019 in which the actor complains to Bettozzi because he received a contract for 250.000 euros while "it was supposed to be for 100". She reassures him: "We said that afterwards we will tear everything up. Sorry, we have established 250… I have already given you 50 and 200 remain”. And he explicitly: “100 in black and 100 turnover… the turnover must be put on the contract”. In a phone call on March 4, 2019, Bettozzi speaking to his sister says: “I have the Camorra behind me”.

AMONG THOSE ARRESTED ALSO THE NEPHEW OF THE BOSS 'SANDOKAN'

Among the ten people for whom the investigating judge of Rome Tamara De Amicis has ordered a precautionary measure in prison – as part of the “Petrol-mafie spa” investigation – is Armando Schiavone, 46, nephew of the boss of the homonymous faction of the Casalesi clan Francesco Schiavone, known as “Sandokan”. According to the investigators, in fact, the Casalesi clan is also interested in the profitable mineral oil business, which came to light through the operation of the Carabinieri ROS and the Guardia di Finanza, which today led the military to notify 71 precautionary measures against alleged members of the Camorra and the 'Ndrangheta, and to seizures for almost a billion euros. Armando Schiavone comes into contact with Giuseppe Vivese, 37 (also the recipient of a precautionary measure in prison).

According to what emerges from the precautionary custody order signed by the investigating judge of Naples, Maria Luisa Miranda, it is the nephew of Alberto Coppola, the latter very close to Antonio Moccia, believed to be a top member of the clan of the same name. Vivese had already entered into business for the marketing of petroleum products also with members of various Neapolitan clans (as can be seen from a wiretap from 19 October 2017). And it is precisely through another wiretap dating back to 6 November 2017, that the contact between the Moccias and "those from Casale" emerges: "You don't give them a euro in their hand," says Vivese speaking to his interlocutor, "they look like mongoloids... the one with the glasses is Armando Schiavone, the nephew of the 'tramp' (one of the aliases of the clan leader Francesco Schiavone, ed.) ... those are our members. When I introduced them to Uncle Alberto, they called him Don Alberto."
