She felt ill while in line for the vaccine, was rescued by traffic police after a cardiac arrest and saved by the deputy-doctor Nicola Grimaldi.
It happened this morning in the parking lot of theMoscati Hospital of Aversa where a woman felt ill shortly before getting vaccinated, causing great alarm among everyone in the area. Fortunately, among those in line was the Honorable Nicola Grimaldi, a member of Parliament for the Five Star Movement, who was there to accompany a friend, a doctor by profession: "I did my job, and I'm happy to have helped the woman. In these cases, immediate intervention is crucial."

Grimaldi, in fact, immediately approached the woman after the traffic police reported the incident, performing CPR, which caused her to suffer a cardiac arrest that lasted about 20 seconds. However, "she immediately regained consciousness, was moving her limbs, and was conscious." The Aversa municipal police were also on the scene, providing invaluable assistance, including enabling the deputy, and then the ambulance crew and the resuscitator, to "save" the woman.
The woman hadn't even been able to get the vaccine yet and is currently hospitalized in Aversa for tests. However, her condition is not critical, and she was conscious in the ambulance and spoke with the doctors. Clearly, pending the results of the medical tests, the woman will not be able to receive the vaccine.
