A young motorcyclist lost his life in a road accident that occurred today on Via Fusaro in Bacoli.
Giuseppe Somma, 27, a resident of Bacoli, was riding his motorcycle toward Cumae when he struck a car approaching from a side street on Via Fusaro near his home. The collision was unavoidable, and despite wearing a helmet, there was nothing that could be done for the young man. Municipal police officers and Carabinieri officers from Bacoli and Pozzuoli responded. Investigators are conducting surveys and investigations to reconstruct the exact circumstances of the accident.
