Battipaglia, drugs hidden in Easter egg container: arrested
The State Police Agents arrested a drug dealer, specialized in the sale of hashish, packaged for the occasion and ready for sale.
The police officers of the PS Police Station of Battipaglia, with a rapid investigation, arrested DE LGA, thirty-four years old from Battipaglia, and resident there, a criminal, employee of a local RSA, caught in possession of approximately 200 grams of hashish, divided into various packages.
The State Police investigators observed the pusher's movements and then checked him: the man showed strong agitation so much so as to arouse the suspicion of the police regarding the possession of drugs. In fact, the young man was found in possession of four pieces of hashish, and four homemade cigarettes prepared with the same drug.
The subsequent search of the DE LG's home carried out by the police officers of the Battipaglia Police Station allowed them to recover more drugs: in the pusher's bedroom, a further quantity of hashish was found, hidden in various hiding places in the furniture of the house.
Furthermore, some of the drugs had been packaged and placed in a yellow plastic container from the Easter chocolate egg surprises.
Also found in the apartment were a digital scale, a cutter and a knife for packaging portions of hashish to be sold to retailers.
The man was arrested by the agents of the Battipaglia Police Station and placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority who ordered the precautionary measure of house arrest, pending the summary trial that will be held this morning at the Court of Salerno.
