Drugs and ammunition seized during Carabinieri checks in the Piano Napoli area of Boscoreale.
I police of the Torre Annunziata Company, supported by the soldiers of the 10th “Campania” Regiment and the Sarno Dog Unit, carried out a “high impact” service in the municipalities of Boscoreale and Torre Annunziata.
Particular attention was once again paid to the “Piano Napoli” of Villa Regina, following the latest criminal events that led to the launch of a series of prevention and repression services within the popular district.
A 48-year-old man was arrested for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing, after being subjected to a personal and local search inside and around his home, on the territorial border between Torre Annunziata and Boscoreale.

The work of “Gero”, the German shepherd trained to search for drugs, was crucial in finding the drugs. He was able to signal containers that the suspect had attached with magnets to the underbody of a van used to transport fishing equipment. Inside, the Carabinieri found blocks of “hashish” weighing approximately 30 grams. In the man’s home, there was also material for cutting and packaging the drug. He was arrested and placed under house arrest, awaiting trial with a direct trial.
Several searches and extensive road checks were carried out inside the “Piano Napoli” of Villa Regina. A 21-year-old was caught in possession of a 17-centimeter knife, which was seized. He was reported to the Judicial Authority. A 56-year-old, subjected to a personal search, was found in possession of two doses of “cocaine” and reported to the Prefect as a drug user.
With the support of canine units trained to search for weapons and explosives, the military also found, near block 14, a bag containing 9 cartridges for 12-gauge weapons.
A total of 15 searches were carried out on people, vehicles and homes.
108 people identified and 39 vehicles checked. During the entire service 24 traffic violations were issued, while 5 vehicles were seized and 4 licenses were withdrawn.
Always high attention to verifying compliance with anti-contagion rules. 23 people were fined for failure to comply with the ban on travel between different municipalities or beyond the permitted time.
