The literary case of Domenico Dara at Scrittori in Prima Linea
It continues, with the commitment of the cultural association The Colors of Poetry, the series of meetings with students and great contemporary Italian authors, thanks to the Scrittori in Prima Linea formula.
The cultural event, now in its fifth edition, has immediately met with considerable success, becoming a point of reference among local students and the world of culture.
As Annamaria Pianese (president of the association) has repeatedly stated, the greatest satisfaction is hearing young people who are reluctant to read say that they have started to love books after the meetings with the authors proposed by the review that was enthusiastically attended by the school principals of institutes in the Pomigliano d'Arco area, including: Vittorio Imbriani, Cantone, ISIS Europa. But it was the support of the administration of the Municipality of Casalnuovo di Napoli, its mayor Massimo Pelliccia and the councilor for culture Simona Visone that allowed the association to present the most authoritative national writers. In fact, from the day of the inauguration, names such as Antonella Cilento, Maurizio De Giovanni, Davide Rondoni, Dacia Maraini, Pino Imperatore, Antonio Menna, Angelo Petrella, Marco Perillo, Agnese Palumbo, Sara Bilotti, Wanda Marasco and many other writers who were able to intrigue young readers with the subjects of their books have participated in the review. Among them, the recent literary case of Domenico Dara (with Malinverno – Feltrinelli Editore) now in its fourth reprint.
The author, introduced by the president Annamaria Pianese and guest of the Liceo Classico Imbriani, in speaking about the characters of his novel, did not avoid the numerous questions of the students and the enthusiastic comments of the teachers Luisa Campana and Giovanni Buglione who masterfully guided the students in the reading and in the pertinent observations on the book. Domenico Dara, an extraordinary literary talent of our times, demonstrated full availability and participation – extending the time scheduled for the meeting – as only the greats do, praising the attention and commitment with which the review “Scrittori in Prima Linea” creates opportunities for meetings of the highest level between authors and readers.
