There finally seems to be light at the end of the tunnel: only 7 deaths from Covid recorded in the last 24 hours according to data from theCrisis unit of the Campania Region.
There are 1.908 new positives for Covid in Campania, of which 635 symptomatic, out of 17.228 molecular swabs analyzed. The incidence rate is 11,07%, slightly down compared to yesterday's 11,92. The data from the crisis unit, updated at midnight last night, also report 1.019 recovered and a number of victims, 7, for the first day in sharp decline compared to recent weeks.

The occupied beds in intensive care are 153, one more than yesterday, while those in hospital decreased by 68 units, settling at 1.509. There are 1.019 recoveries today for a total since the beginning of the pandemic that rises to 247.346.

According to the latest bulletin on heat waves released by the Ministry of Health, Saturday will mark a slight respite with the alert level dropping in much of the country.
