A confidential negotiation is underway, initiated by Prime Minister Draghi and the pharmaceutical company Moderna to sign an agreement that would bring extra doses of vaccine to Italy, compared to what was initially agreed at European level.
From what emerges, the Prime Minister's initiative is taking shape outside the scope of collective bargaining, albeit with the aim of not violating any European law.

It would appear that the US pharmaceutical company is considering accepting the proposal from Italy, to which approximately 320 million doses have been delivered so far in the first quarter, based on what was established in the agreement signed with the European Commission and in compliance with the timetable defined in the Plan for the national vaccination campaign.
In the past week, the Emergency Commissioner's structure received 500 thousand doses from the American company and the same amount is expected by mid-April.
