Easter holidays 'locked down': all beaches and the promenade of Castel Volturno closed
Castel Volturno lockdown for Easter and Easter Monday: beaches and stretches of the seafront closed, total closure of commercial activities. In order to contain the spread of Covid-19, the mayor of Castel Volturno Luigi Petrella issued an ordinance, number 25 of 2 April 2021, with which it announced the adoption of further stringent measures to contain Covid-19, thus avoiding the risk that residents and non-residents would flock to the Castellano area during the Easter holidays.
It was therefore ordered that on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, it is forbidden to frequent stretches of the seafront, beaches, open spaces, squares or any places of aggregation. It was also ordered that all commercial and artisanal activities, public establishments such as food shops, tobacconists, newsstands, vending machines for food and drinks be closed. Both take-away and home delivery catering activities were suspended.
