The “Zeus Protocol” signed between the Naples Police Headquarters and the CIPM Campania
This morning, at the Ammaturo room of the Police Headquarters in Napoli, the Police Commissioner Alessandro Giuliano and the President of the CIPM Campania – “Italian Centre for the Promotion of Mediation”, Dr. Roberto Iannucci, have signed the protocol “Zeus”, a collaboration agreement under which the recipients of warnings from the Police Commissioner for stalking and domestic violence will be invited to the CIPM Campania to undertake, on a voluntary basis, a recovery program, managed by psychologists and clinical criminologists, which will allow them to recognize their responsibilities and improve the management of emotions and control of their impulses.
Addressing the problem of violence from the point of view of the abusers, offering them the possibility of changing their behavior, represents a measure to reduce recidivism.
The "Zeus" protocol will contribute to the construction of a prevention system based on an effective network model between all the institutions involved on a daily basis against domestic or gender violence.
