Games and sweets for the children of Santobono Pusilipon from the association “Tra Cielo e Mare”
Alfonsina Longobardi, president of the Association “Tra Cielo e Mare” and organizer of the event “Dining under a Different Sky”, and Ciro Torlo, Neapolitan model and actor, delivered to the pediatric hospital Santobono Pausilipon, represented by Prof. Carmine Pecoraro, toys and sweets intended for hospitalized children. They were welcomed, outside the health facility, by doctors for the delivery rite in full compliance with the anti-Covid19 regulations.
There are many solidarity initiatives that this Easter involve the young patients of the Neapolitan hospital, among these that of the association "Tra Cielo e Mare" represents the completion of the last edition of "Cenando sotto un Cielo Diverso", which took place on September 28th and which raised funds both for the creation of a recreational-educational laboratory for schizophrenic patients (historical purpose of the event) and for the purchase of gifts intended for the children hospitalized in the nephrology department of the Neapolitan hospital.
“The restrictions related to the fight against the virus have slowed down the delivery of toys and sweets to the children hospitalized at Santobono Pausilipon – says Alfonsina Longobardi -. We are currently busy organizing a solidarity tour in the soup kitchens where the starred chefs who are testimonials of “Cenando sotto un Cielo Diverso” will cook for people in difficulty. Restrictions permitting, we plan to do it in the months of April and May”.
