The concept of the song, namely the theme of “social bullying” that Covid exercises on people, is attracting the attention of the public and professionals. Marco explains: “Coronavirus bullies: it is a phenomenon that silently but lethally marginalizes us socially”.
The singer from Campania, who grew up in the difficult reality of the “Casalesi” in Casal di Principe (CE), was defined as the “moral winner” of the Sanremo Festival 2020. He brought the song “Billy Blu” to the Ariston stage, which became an iconic song against bullying, a song used in many schools as a pedagogical tool to raise awareness on the subject.

After the success of "Billy Blu" at the Sanremo Festival 2020, Marco Sentieri returns to talk about bullying, what our country is experiencing due to Covid. The new project #NonLasciamociBullizzareDalCoronavirus is a hymn that sends a message of hope to Italy, recalling how our nation has a glorious tradition, citing Italian excellences who have written the history of the world from Manzoni to Michelangelo Mennea Mina Merini Montalcini up to the fellow countryman Antonio De Curtis Totò.
The song, written by the author Igor Nogarotto, also wants to be a sign of solidarity towards the world of entertainment workers, particularly affected by the consequences of the restrictions caused by Covid. In this regard, to give a concrete signal in the direction of the resumption of music, the song was performed live, with real instruments, by the musicians of the band "Due Quarti" composed of Nicola Pilla (guitars), Paolo Pollastro (bass, keyboards), Alessandro Pilla (drums).
