Securing and remediation of the former “La Selva” landfill, remediation works awarded for 216 thousand euros

The tender for the characterisation, safety and reclamation of the former landfill "La Selva" in Sessa Aurunca for a total amount of approximately 216 thousand euros. The works, which will be carried out in the next few months, were awarded by the Single Contracting Station of Caserta in favor of the ATI composed of the companies I.Geo sas di D'Onofrio Giuseppe & C. , TEI srl, GEol. Rosanna Miglionico who offered a discount of 37% on the starting bid amount of 333.706,56 euros.

With decree number 11 of May 30, 2017, the Regional Council of Campania granted the Municipality of Sessa Aurunca a 5 million euro funding for the characterization, safety and remediation of the “La Selva” landfill and with GM resolution n. 28 of February 28, 2018, the preliminary project was approved. Over the years, the cumbersome procedural process has been initiated and is almost in its final stages.
