The body found this morning on the shoreline of the Torregaveta beach in Monte di Procida by some residents is that of a Neapolitan.
The man, an elderly resident of Naples, whose identity has not yet been released, has already been identified by his family. In Torregaveta, according to initial investigations conducted by the Coast Guard in collaboration with the Carabinieri and the Municipal Police of Monte di Procida would have arrived in the morning, around 10 with a Cumana railway train in the seaside resort.

He was reportedly seen walking on the pier by locals. A 57-year-old from Monte di Procida has decided to resume work on his illegal construction site, which was already seized months ago by the Carabinieri and marked off with the classic red and white tape. When officers from the local station showed up at the house for a check, the man lost his temper: he pushed the Carabinieri and insulted them, trying to prevent them from entering the construction site.
