Naples, home disco with console: 41 fined and 2 arrested

Last night, officers from the Vicaria-Mercato and Decumani Police Stations, during their territorial control service, on the orders of the Operations Centre, intervened in Corso Umberto I° following a report of loud noises and music coming from a home.

The police officers, arriving on the scene, heard loud noises, music and several voices coming from inside the building and, with the support of the police cars,General Prevention Office, entered the apartment where they surprised dozens of young people intent on dancing, crowded together and without masks; some of them moved away while 41 others were identified and fined for failure to comply with the anti-Covid-19 measures.

Furthermore, two of them, RL and AF, Neapolitans aged 32 and 29, began to swear at the officers and push them to hinder their intervention, inciting the others present against them; for this reason they were arrested for threatening and resisting a Public Official and incitement to commit a crime, and the second also for injuring a Public Official.
Finally, the audio system and the music console were seized.
