In Marano di Napoli, the police of the provincial command of Naples have executed a precautionary measure, issued by the investigating judge of the Neapolitan Court at the request of the local District Anti-Mafia Directorate, against 3 suspects (2 in prison and 1 under house arrest), considered to be seriously suspected of 'fraudulent transfer of assets', aggravated by the 'mafia method'.

The investigations, conducted by the Naples investigative unit and coordinated by the DDA, allowed for the preventive seizure, in the city district of Montesanto, of a construction site relating to a two-level real estate complex, extending over a surface area of 800 square meters, consisting of 12 mini apartments, in the absence of seismic authorization and in violation of the presented project, for a value of approximately 3 million euros.
During the investigations, serious evidence was gathered regarding the factual connection of a company, registered in the name of a front man and engaged in the restructuring of the structure, to two individuals, considered to be the entrepreneurial expression of the Polverino-Nuvoletta clan, operating in Marano di Napoli.
The investigations allowed to find that the aforementioned company, in the years 2018-2019, had, in various city districts, orders for works for over 400 thousand euros. The company was subjected to preventive seizure, with the entire asset structure, for a total value of over 100 thousand euros.
